Frequently Asked Questions
Will resizing crop or stretch my photo?
No. The image is scaled down to fit entirely within the target dimensions, keeping its original proportions. If the shape doesn't match exactly, white padding fills the remaining space — nothing is cropped or distorted.
Why does my resized image have white bars?
That's the padding described above — it appears when your photo's aspect ratio doesn't exactly match the preset you chose (for example, a landscape photo resized to a square). It's the tradeoff for never cropping content out of your photo.
PNG or JPG — which should I choose?
PNG is lossless and better for graphics, logos, or anything with sharp edges or text. JPG produces a smaller file and is usually the better choice for photos.
Is my photo stored after resizing?
No. Files are processed on a secure server and deleted automatically within minutes.
