Free PDF Tools Online
Compress, merge, split, convert and edit PDF files — plus a few tools for photos, too.
What is QuickTools?
QuickTools is a free platform for everyday PDF work — compressing large files, merging or splitting documents, converting between formats, and editing, signing, or securing a PDF — plus a small set of image tools for resizing photos, shrinking JPGs, and removing backgrounds. Upload a file, the operation runs on our server, and you download the result. There's no account to create and nothing to install.
Why Use QuickTools
- Free: No hidden costs, subscriptions, or per-file limits beyond the 20MB upload cap.
- No account needed: Every tool works immediately — upload, process, download.
- Files aren't kept: Uploaded files and generated results are automatically deleted from our server within minutes of processing.
- One task, one tool: Each tool does one job well instead of burying it inside a complicated all-in-one editor.

Frequently Asked Questions
Do I need to create an account?
No. Every tool works without signing up — upload a file, process it, and download the result.
Where does my file get processed?
On our server, not in your browser — your file is uploaded, the requested operation runs server-side, and the result is sent back to you for download. Uploaded files and generated results are deleted automatically within minutes.
Is there a file size limit?
Yes, uploads are capped at 20MB across all tools. If a PDF is too large, Compress PDF can shrink it first.
Do you support image tools, or just PDFs?
Both. Alongside the PDF tools, Resize Image, Remove Background, and Compress JPG work on standalone photos — see all image tools.
